Senior Project Manager – Technical (Financial & Pricing Calculations)

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong technical delivery expertise to support a complex, multi‑year transformation programme focused on financial and pricing calculation workstreams.
While deep subject‑matter expertise is not essential, the successful candidate must have hands‑on experience delivering projects involving financial or pricing calculations, with the ability to navigate technical complexity, manage risks, and work effectively with engineering, actuarial, pricing, and third‑party teams.
This role will drive cross‑functional delivery across teams located in both Bristol and York.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
- Deliver end‑to‑end project management across multiple technical workstreams.
- Build and manage integrated project plans, dependencies, RAID, and governance reporting.
- Oversee work related to Expected Results (ER), pricing calculation logic, and validation activities.
- Translate technical risks and issues into clear, concise business‑friendly reporting.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Coordinate delivery across engineering, actuarial, pricing, and platform teams.
- Support interpretation and validation of calculation logic alongside technical teams.
- Work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders distributed across Bristol and York.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Manage third‑party suppliers, ensuring delivery quality and alignment with programme objectives.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum.
Essential Experience
- Senior PM with a track record of delivering large, multi‑year programmes.
- Strong skills in planning, RAID management, governance, financial tracking, and cross-team coordination.
- Experience working on financial or pricing calculations (core requirement).
- Background in Expected Results (ER), calculation engines, or validation against legacy systems.
- Strong third‑party management experience; familiarity with Diligenta is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity for stakeholders.
