Job Role : Senior Manager,Information& Cyber Security Operations Assurance Daily Rate : £ 500-750 Function : CISO - CIO Location : Henry Duncan House, 120 George St, Edinburgh EH2 4LH Duration : Till December with possible extension Hello, we 're TSB, and we 're different from other banks. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Information Security The core purpose of the role is to lead a team of security operations assurance personnel with deep technical, IT Security and risk management and assurance skills. This Team will oversee the overall operations of TSB and our suppliers regarding information and cyber security and integrate with the wider CISO function to offer strategic oversight of all elements of IT Security in the bank As well as day-to-day operations you will also be responsible for articulating and implementing the strategic vision, scoping of requirements, system capability and delivery, and adherence to the bank 's information security policy and standards, as well as regulatory and legal requirements. You will liaise with senior level directors, Heads of Function and other key stakeholders across the bank as well as managers, analysts, and other IT Security risk-assessment professionals within your team. Today Ideally, you 'll currently have these skills and experience: Strong academics, including a minimum of 2.1 degree or extensive relevant industry experience Experience in design, implementation and operation of large-scale security operations solutions in a large and complex environment. In-depth technical knowledge of all areas of IT Security, including Identity and Access Management; Single Sign On; Secure communications and network protection; Data protection and privacy; Security Management; Audit; Cryptographic services; and Security Assurance and Maturity Assessment. Proven track record of experience in developing and driving the design, testing and implementation of IT Security solutions within an organisation. Experience of day to day cyber operations, including the maintenance and monitoring of a production IT environment, systems access and data prevention tools. Demonstrable skills in strategic planning, staff leadership and development and training. Experience in the planning and execution of any required vulnerability audits, penetration tests or related investigations, ensuring any findings are fed into projects to improving the organisation 's overall IT Security. Up-to-date knowledge of cyber and information security trends and threats facing financial services. Tomorrow It takes more than just skills and experience. Work closely with Group to ensure global capabilities can be utilised locally, along with influencing global standards and approaches. Manage key stakeholders, vendors or third party service and current and prospective solution providers of IT Security. Integrate IT Security operational considerations into all new projects taking into account the local security architecture framework including the principles, policies, standards, methodologies and tools. Manage any new hires, day-to-day dispute resolution, and partner resourcing and management as required. Ensure that security operations capabilities provided by vendors to TSB do not introduce unnecessary and unknown risks to the bank. Make certain that technical security capabilities are delivering as designed and remain fit for the future Oversee the day to day interface between Security Operations Centre outputs and TSB remediation Ensures BAU changes do not reduce cyber protection Articulate the need for, secure funding and drive implementation of efficiencies and improvements in cyber capabilities Oversee a programme of relevant and current cyber related awareness material for TSB Partners, third parties and customers.
