Introduction

Neem are responding to a ITT for a large Database and Analysis project capturing a large volume of data in the UK to comply with legislative requirements.

The purpose of the project is to deliver models and datasets and to assess compliance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Google Cloud Platform Database Design and Development
• Software Development
• Data Ingestion, Cleaning and Processing
• Data Integrity, Auditing and Debugging

Essential Skills and Experience

• Individual must be currently SC cleared.
• Database development and management, including: data lineage, data modelling, and auditing/debugging deliver high-quality outcomes, solve problems, and maintain data integrity
• Competency in the use of Microsoft Excel to produce ad-hoc reports and support transfer of data.
• Proficiency in one or more of R or Python to support data communication, validation, and assurance.
• Knowledge of working with Google Cloud Storage Buckets and Data transfers, and BigQuery, as Client expects data to be housed and administrated on this platform.
• Confidence in managing large databases, across ingest, cleaning and processing, joining and aggregating, and querying and retrieval.
• Ability to communicate data outputs clearly to non-specialist audiences.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet timescales and quality outcomes.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Proactive approach to problem-solving, including establishing a network of internal stakeholders and decision-makers to support informed, timely decision-making by escalating risks and issues appropriately and devising creative solutions.
• Experience managing risk within the context of expedited delivery of a data backlog.
