Multiple Contract Opportunities | UK Remote/Hybrid | Competitive Day Rates


RedRock Consulting are currently supporting a number of exciting digital transformation programmes and are looking to speak with experienced Senior User Researchers for a range of upcoming contract opportunities.


With multiple projects due to commence across the coming weeks and months, we are building a network of talented User Researchers who can support complex, user-centred digital delivery programmes across a variety of sectors.

These opportunities will suit experienced researchers who enjoy working within multidisciplinary Agile teams and are passionate about delivering services that genuinely meet user needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver user research activities across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases.
  • Select and apply appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, surveys, workshops and ethnographic research.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Service Designers, Business Analysts, Content Designers and Delivery Teams.
  • Support evidence-based decision making throughout the product and service lifecycle.
  • Present research findings to a range of stakeholders, from delivery teams through to senior leadership.
  • Champion user-centred design principles and accessibility best practices.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a User Researcher or Senior User Researcher.
  • Strong understanding of User-Centred Design (UCD).
  • Experience delivering research within Agile environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently plan, conduct and synthesise research activities.
  • Experience using a variety of research methods to uncover user needs and behaviours.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary product or service teams.


Desirable Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Government Digital Service (GDS) environments.
  • Public sector digital transformation programmes.
  • Large-scale customer experience transformation initiatives.
  • Accessibility and inclusive design.
  • Service assessments and service standards.
  • Research Operations or establishing research practices.
