Trade Floor IT Support Engineer at WWT EMEA UK LIMITED, Multiple Locations, £Contract Rate

Contract Description

Location: London – 4 days onsite
Contract: 6-month rolling contract
Rate: £300 - £320 per day (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote IT support to front-office trading floor users, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across desktops, laptops, and trading peripherals.

  • Support and maintain trading technologies, including market data platforms and trading applications.

  • Manage Windows 10/11 environments, including desktop builds, OS upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

  • Support multi-monitor trading desk setups, docking stations, turrets, and specialist hardware.

  • Work closely with infrastructure, network, and application teams to resolve complex incidents.

  • Maintain documentation and assist with technology rollouts and system upgrades.


Key
Skills & Experience
  • Experience providing Trading Floor / Front Office IT Support within financial services.

  • Strong support experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Exchange.

  • Experience with desktop deployment tools such as SCCM, Intune, or Autopilot.

  • Knowledge of market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).

  • Experience supporting multi-monitor trading environments and specialist trading hardware.

  • Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

  • Familiarity with service desk tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
