Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote role for a Cybersecurity Analyst (SOC & GRC) – Project Consultant. In this role, you will monitor security operations, analyze malware threats, and provide risk management support. You will assist in the development of governance frameworks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and conduct security assessments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address cybersecurity risks, optimizing application and network security during client engagements.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Network Security, Application Security, and Cybersecurity standards and practices
  • Proficiency in Malware Analysis and identifying potential threats
  • Strong Analytical Skills for data-driven threat assessment and risk management
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, FCA, and NHS compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment, providing strategic consultation and hands-on support
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as SEC+, CYSA+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH are an advantage
