Role: Project Support Coordinator

Role Type: Temporary – Full Time - 6 Months

Location: Macclesfield – x3 Days per week on-site / x2 working remote

Your New Role

 

Working under the guidance of the Project Lead, you will support and deliver agreed learning work packages, coordinate activities, track progress, and provide project co-ordination support for the workstream.

 

As a Project Support, you will support the workstream by:

  • Delivering defined learning work packages on time
  • Co-ordinating tasks and activities
  • Tracking actions/risks/issues across the workstream

 

Activities will include:

  • Coordinating activities across cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned work packages delivering on time and to the required quality
  • Action, risk, and issue management: Capture, maintain, and drive closure of actions with clear owners and due dates. Assist with risk and issue identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and escalation through PMO processes.
  • Work package delivery: Lead and drive assigned work packages to completion, managing interdependencies and communicating progress, variances, and recovery actions to the Project Lead.
  • On-time delivery of assigned work packages and milestones

 

Essential Skills

  • Experience in working on people related projects
  • Experience in project coordination, preferably in a global or cross-functional learning environment
  • Highly organised planning skills with a strong initiative and highly methodical approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working in fast paced projects with a strong focus on delivery and driving for completion
  • Experience in managing and delivering to targets and milestones, able to work as part of a team whilst driving individual actions
  • Delivering work packages within a learning environment
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, SharePoint, Teams) and standard PMO artefacts
