About the Role

Location: Remote

Compensation: Paid per project

Employment Type: Independent contractor / freelance

We are looking for freelance SEO writers who can produce clear, structured and performance oriented content on a recurring basis for SaaS and AI startups. Most projects involve creating SEO optimized articles and keyword driven content series designed to attract, inform and convert technical decision makers.

The ideal candidate is comfortable conducting keyword research, understanding search intent, analyzing competitor SERPs, reviewing product pages or workflows to ensure accuracy, and transforming that information into high quality writing that balances SEO best practices with clarity and credibility.

Work is assigned per project and often follows a recurring schedule, such as weekly or monthly content production across multiple topics or clusters.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals
• Ability to analyze search intent and competitor content
• Ability to synthesize product or industry information quickly
• Excellent written communication in English
• Attention to detail, structure and accuracy
• Experience in SEO writing, content marketing, content strategy or similar roles
• Ability to work within templates, briefs and recurring content workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience writing for SaaS or AI tools
• Familiarity with keyword research platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush or Google Keyword Planner
• Interest in emerging technologies, software and AI products
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Claude
• Backgrounds in marketing, content strategy, journalism or technical communication
