The Senior Test Engineer will be a pivotal member of our agile delivery teams, working across multiple projects within a major re-platforming programme that's improving several public-facing services. This includes building out a canonical data model and a set of reusable components to underpin our services. You will lead the testing strategy and approach, introduce or enhance automated testing frameworks, and ensure that our services meet the high standards expected under the GOV.UK Service Standard.
As a Senior Test Engineer your main responsibilities will be to:
Define and own the test strategy and quality assurance approach across multiple digital services.
Champion test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) within agile teams.
Embed a quality-first culture - ensuring testing is integral to delivery, not an afterthought.
