Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain scalable high-performance web applications and software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in frontend and backend development, full-stack engineering, API integration, database management, cloud deployment and software architecture.

You will be responsible for developing reliable applications, building backend services, creating responsive user interfaces, optimising system performance, troubleshooting technical issues and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Candidates should have strong programming fundamentals, practical full-stack development experience and the ability to work independently in a flexible, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and maintain scalable full-stack web applications and backend services.

Build software solutions using Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Rust, Go (Golang), TypeScript, C# and C++.

Develop responsive and interactive frontend applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs, web services and third-party integrations.

Develop efficient backend systems, application logic and server-side components.

Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including relational and document-oriented databases.

Deploy, monitor and maintain applications using cloud platforms and infrastructure.

Identify, debug and resolve complex software engineering issues.

Improve application performance, scalability, security and reliability.

Review existing codebases and implement solutions based on technical specifications.

Collaborate with engineering teams on software architecture, system design and technical implementation.

Write clean, reusable, maintainable code and automated tests.

Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or full-stack development.

Strong programming knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Rust, Go (Golang), TypeScript, C# or C++.

Experience with React.js or equivalent modern frontend frameworks.

Working knowledge of multiple programming languages and development technologies.

Hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development.

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive web development.

Practical experience with REST APIs, web services and backend architecture.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with cloud platforms, cloud deployment and application hosting.

Understanding of software architecture, system design, debugging and automated testing.

Ability to work with existing codebases and independently manage technical tasks.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing scalable, cloud-native applications.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and automated testing frameworks.

Experience with application monitoring, logging and performance optimisation.

Understanding of software security, application architecture and design patterns.

Experience with Git, version control and collaborative software development workflows.

Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams in a remote environment.

Pay: £40.00-£80.00 per hour
