IT Project Manager

Location: Lincoln, UK | Hybrid

Engagement: Inside IR35 Contract or Fixed-Term Employment

Duration: 3 months

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to take ownership of a fast-paced technology delivery involving multiple interconnected workstreams and a critical production go-live.

You’ll bring structure, pace and visibility to the programme, working across business, technology, operational and third-party teams to keep delivery on track. A key part of the role will be driving cutover readiness, RAID management and stakeholder coordination through to successful implementation.

This role would suit a hands-on Project Manager who is comfortable stepping into a complex environment, quickly establishing control and driving delivery against tight timelines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive end-to-end delivery across multiple IT project workstreams, ensuring activities remain aligned to the overall delivery plan.
• Build and manage project plans, including key milestones, dependencies, deliverables and critical paths.
• Own production cutover and go-live coordination, including readiness assessments, implementation planning and stakeholder alignment.
• Drive progress and accountability, following up on actions, decisions and deliverables across multiple teams.
• Manage RAID effectively, proactively identifying risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies and ensuring appropriate mitigation or escalation.
• Provide clear project reporting to business and technology stakeholders, maintaining visibility of progress, blockers and key decisions.
• Lead project meetings, planning sessions, governance reviews and decision forums.
• Coordinate across business, technology, operational and third-party teams to support successful delivery.
• Manage competing priorities and respond quickly to delivery challenges, incidents or changing requirements.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects with multiple workstreams.
• Strong project planning, governance and delivery management capability.
• Demonstrable experience leading production cutover, implementation and go-live activities.
• Strong RAID, dependency and risk management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
• Confident providing concise project reporting and escalating issues where required.
• Strong ability to drive teams and maintain delivery momentum against challenging deadlines.
• Comfortable working within fast-moving environments where priorities may change.
• Experience supporting change and incident management within technology delivery environments.
