Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technology migration and integration initiatives within a major financial services environment.

The role will focus on the migration of technology platforms, infrastructure, applications and teams, particularly in the context of mergers, acquisitions and demergers. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering end-to-end migration projects, managing cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring business and technology transitions are completed effectively, with minimal disruption.

This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong project management expertise, technical understanding and experience navigating complex organisational and technology change.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead end-to-end technology migration projects, including the migration of applications, infrastructure, systems and technology teams.

· Manage technology integration and separation activities arising from mergers, acquisitions and demergers.

· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs and delivery governance.

· Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, infrastructure, operations, business and third-party suppliers.

· Manage migration readiness, cutover planning, execution and post-migration stabilisation.

· Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology migrations, business continuity and operational disruption.

· Work closely with senior stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate progress and resolve delivery challenges.

· Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

· Support the transition of technology services, processes and teams into new operating models.

· Drive effective project governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience

· Proven experience as a Senior IT Project Manager delivering complex technology migration projects.

· Demonstrable experience managing technology and/or team migrations.

· Previous experience delivering projects involving mergers, acquisitions and/or demergers.

· Strong understanding of technology environments, including applications, infrastructure, systems integration and technology operating models.

· Experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, cutover and post-migration activities.

· Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior business and technology leadership.

· Excellent project governance, risk management and delivery planning capabilities.

· Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver within complex, fast-paced financial services environments.
