Who We Are
Reinvigoration is an operations consultancy that helps organisations transform their operations and sustain the results. We are at an important point in our growth, and we work with a trusted network of associates who bring specialist experience to our client engagements.
As an Associate Consultant, you will work hands-on with clients to assess their organisation, people and processes, and to design and implement improvements that deliver measurable results. You will bring strong analytical, facilitation and documentation skills, usually working alongside our consultants in blended delivery teams or completing standalone deliverables as part of a larger engagement
Engagements vary in length, scope and intensity, and work is offered on an engagement-by-engagement basis. Your first engagement may be shorter, giving us both the chance to understand your skills and how you work. Joining our associate pool does not guarantee immediate work: some associates start on a project straight away, while for others the right opportunity takes longer to arise.
If that sounds like the way you like to work, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Work hands-on with clients to assess their organisation, people and processes, and make and implement recommendations for improvement
- Complete set deliverables to deadlines either as part of a blended delivery team or standalone
- Provide business analysis, including process mapping, data collection and qualitative and quantitative analysis, to inform decisions and evidence outcomes and business cases
- Work alongside client teams on engagements, taking an active hands-on role in the analysis
- Produce operational artefacts such as policies, standard operating procedures, RACIs and toolkits to support implementation
- Manage client subject matter experts and facilitate workshops
- Coach client teams in improvement methods, and prepare and deliver training
- Produce reports and presentations to a commercially publishable standard
- Identify where Reinvigoration's propositions could help clients, and contribute to proposals and tender responses
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- Consulting experience: at least five years of internal or external consulting in operations improvement, including experience with an external consultancy

- Analytical capability: strong business and data analysis skills, with expert use of Microsoft Excel
- High-quality written and visual output: exceptional written English and a meticulous approach to reports and slides
- Stakeholder management and facilitation: manages client stakeholders at all levels, facilitates workshops confidently and delivers training effectively
- Composure and resilience: makes sense of complex, fast-moving situations and responds with clarity, absorbing setbacks and challenge constructively
- Adaptability: works effectively when the scope or shape of an engagement shifts
- Self-direction: manages their own time, works independently and progresses work without waiting for it to be allocated
Should Have
- Client credibility: builds trust with clients quickly and challenges constructively
- Credibility through delivery: expects to earn trust through their work rather than relying on the reputation of a larger firm
- Collaborative approach: works effectively in blended teams and supports the people around them
- Sector expertise: Prior experience in Financial Services or the Public Sector, especially housing and emergency services is preferred but not essential.
Could Have
- Operating model design and business architecture experience
- Formal qualifications in areas such as Business Administration, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Operational Excellence, Agile, PRINCE2, Business or Data Analysis, or Data Visualisation
- Data science and visualisation skills, such as Power BI
- Digital transformation experience
This Role Probably Isn't for You If…
- You are looking for guaranteed continuous work or a single long engagement with a fixed scope
- You would rather advise than deliver hands-on
- You rely on a large firm's brand, infrastructure or support to do your best work
