You will:

  • Plan and lead requirements elicitation activities, including workshops, interviews, observation and document analysis.

  • Work with Commercial colleagues to support compliance with Crown Commercial Service frameworks and internal procurement controls.
  • Support market engagement activities where required.
  • Facilitate options appraisal, including consideration of extension, retendering, insourcing, outsourcing and potential scope changes.
  • Clearly document the advantages, disadvantages, risks, dependencies and transition implications of different options to support governance decisions.
  • Translate requirements into supplier evaluation criteria and testable acceptance evidence.
  • Support supplier clarification activities, technical assessments, evaluation and selection.
  • Maintain appropriate version control, requirements traceability and change control throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Support mobilisation by confirming readiness, handover arrangements and traceability from requirements through to contractual deliverables and service-level agreements.

  • Promote consistent Business Analysis tools, templates and standards, including HLBR and Requirements Management Plan templates.
  • Contribute to the wider Business Analysis community by sharing learning and improving the approach used for future retender exercises.

You will have:

  • Demonstrable ability to work in a structured and organised manner within a fast-paced project environment, balancing competing priorities and activities across multiple workstreams while meeting tight deadlines.
