Duties

• Develop, test, and deploy robust software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, C, and VBA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for application development.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between different software components and external services.
• Maintain version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure code integrity and facilitate team collaboration.
• Optimize database interactions by writing efficient SQL queries for systems like MySQL and SQL Server; manage data storage solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality while ensuring security and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold high-quality standards across all projects.

Skills

• Proficiency in front-end development frameworks and languages including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and related libraries.
• Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++,.NET framework, and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub, Git, SVN for source code management.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS and Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Hands-on experience working with REST APIs for data exchange between services.
• Solid understanding of database management systems like MySQL and SQL Server; ability to write optimized queries.
• Experience with application development tools such as Visual Studio, Jenkins, or similar IDEs.
• Ability to develop software that integrates with APIs and third-party services securely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration concepts is a plus.
