World Wide Technology (WWT) has an opportunity for Senior Network Engineers to execute a legacy-to-ACI migration across two data centres supporting a major financial services client. This is hands-on, Implementation, Migration & deployment-focused work engineers will implement against Low-Level Designs already produced by the design team, not design the solution themselves. Candidates must be able to demonstrate solid routing, switching, and BGP fundamentals, as technical depth in these areas is a key screening criterion for this role.

Senior Network Engineer

Contract Duration: To be confirmed

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days a week)

Key Responsibilities

• Physically rack, cable, and configure data centre equipment.
• Migrate legacy infrastructure to Cisco ACI.
• Implement strictly from approved LLD/HLD documentation.
• Work across legacy Cisco Nexus (9000/7000/5000) and existing ACI environments.
• Operate across multiple ticketing and change management systems.
• Support a large-scale, multi-entity data centre environment.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Solid routing, switching, and BGP fundamentals.
• Hands-on Cisco ACI and/or data centre migration experience.
• Comfortable working from LLD/HLD documentation rather than improvising design.
• CCNP or equivalent demonstrable hands-on experience.
• Stable, demonstrable tenure history.

Desirable:

• Self-starting, able to complete tasks with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable following defined process in a structured environment.
