Location: UK Hybrid (London, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester). Ad hoc travel your nearest Deloitte office

Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend)

Contract Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35)

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst (BA) to join the Business Change and Analysis team in Enterprise Business Solutions at Deloitte. You will work on different projects across our security programmes. You will be the “voice of the business” ensuring that our technology teams deliver solutions that meet business needs by understanding our business, eliciting requirements and improving the user experience. You will support the Head of Business Analysis to evolve the Business Analysis practice.

 

Essential Skills and Experience

    • An experienced Senior BA with functional and technical expertise preferably within Financial or Professional Services
    • Previous experience with business transformation, process improvement or user experience
    • Strong stakeholder management: Able to lead and drive the discussions with technical and non technical senior stakeholders, lead workshops and provide demos. Able to collaborate and manage relationships with business stakeholders, at all levels, with the ability to challenge where required.
    • Work independently and take the lead with managing documentation, process mapping, requirements, business case writing and user journeys
    • Ability to quickly understand high level business processes and problems and present solutions and options.
    • Be a team player, work collaboratively and positively with others in an open, friendly, flexible and facilitating manner.
    • Able to define scope and distil lots of information into high level understandable concepts and business language.
    • Experience of process mapping, requirements elicitation techniques and Business Case writing.
    • Able to navigate and manage change in a fast-paced environment.

 


Desirable:

    • Understanding of AI and implementing automated process - how AI, automation or analytics can support business analysis, including the need to validate outputs and handle information responsibly
    • Lean six sigma certified
    • Experience designing user experiences and design thinking
    • Process-modelling experience including BPMN

 


Deliverables: Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Understand business needs and identify problems, opportunities, and desired outcomes.
  • Elicit and document requirements, including functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyse and improve business processes through current-state and future-state modelling.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders to build consensus and align expectations.
  • Translate business needs into solution requirements and support solution design.
  • Manage scope and requirements through prioritisation, traceability, and change control.
  • Support delivery and testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Contribute to business cases and options analysis, assessing benefits, risks, costs, and dependencies.
