Lead Technical Partner/CTO (AI & Multi-Trade Platform) at Garden Budget AI, Remote, £Project Rate/Equity

Garden Budget AI (gardenbudgetai.co.uk) is an innovative UK-based multi-trade platform transforming home improvement and landscaping. Our solution allows homeowners to instantly analyze garden spaces, establish clear budgets, and connect with qualified trade specialists through a smart allocation system.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Partner, Lead Developer, or IT Agency to take full ownership of our tech architecture, AI engine, and overall platform scaling.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end development, maintenance, and scalability of our core software architecture.

Build and refine automated quote generation, database infrastructure, and multi-trade matching algorithms.

Integrate generative AI models and image-rendering capabilities into our web and mobile interface.

Manage cloud infrastructure, security, API integrations, and ongoing feature rollouts.

Requirements:

Proven track record of developing full-stack web applications, marketplace platforms, or directory engines.

Hands-on experience with AI/API integrations, computer vision, or visual rendering engines.

Ability to operate as a true technical partner invested in long-term platform growth.

Strong focus on database architecture, clean code standards, and system security.

Compensation & Terms:

Up to 10% Equity Stake (structured via a standard milestone-backed vesting schedule).

Open to discussing a Hybrid Model (reduced project/cash rates alongside equity).

Co-founder level involvement in a growing home improvement market.
