Rate: £600 - £625 per day (Inside IR35)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Change Lead to join a major transformation programme delivering significant business and technology change across a large, complex organisation. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving change adoption, ensuring business readiness, and enabling the successful delivery of programme benefits across multiple stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business change strategies and adoption plans aligned to programme objectives
• Lead the delivery of change activities across complex business and technology transformation initiatives
• Oversee stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, and organisational readiness activities
• Act as an escalation point for change-related risks, issues, and dependencies
• Navigate complex and politically sensitive environments to achieve successful outcomes
• Apply and adapt recognised change management frameworks, methodologies, and tools to support programme delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience leading large-scale business change within complex transformation programmes
• Strong track record of developing and implementing change strategies, plans, and adoption activities
• Experience delivering change across both business and technology-led transformations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders
• Demonstrated capability leading through influence within matrix organisations
• Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practice frameworks
• Experience managing organisational change risk, impact assessments, and business readiness activities
• Background within public sector, shared services, ERP, HR, Finance, or large-scale digital transformation programmes is highly desirable
