Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform Senior Consultant to lead enterprise automation initiatives across different types of environments. This role is designed for a senior technologist with deep expertise in Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), and Red Hat OpenShift.

As the Principal Consultant, you will act as the primary automation architect and technical authority, responsible for designing automation strategies, implementing enterprise‑grade automation frameworks, and guiding clients through modernization and orchestration initiatives. This is a high‑autonomy role requiring the ability to translate business objectives into actionable automation architectures with minimal oversight.

Required Experience:

• 12+ years of professional IT experience.
• 5+ years working with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
• 3+ years working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Knowledge related to Red Hat Openshift or Kubernetes
• Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise automation solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions with SRE, Platform, and Stakeholder teams.

Required Certifications:

Candidates must hold one or more Red Hat certifications, verifiable at: https://rhtapps.redhat.com/verify.

Ideal certifications include:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• Any certification related to Ansible Automation Platform

• Ansible for linux, windows and cloud environments
• Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) design and installation
• Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) administration
• Automation Controller / Execution Environments
• Automation Hub

Location: Remote - UK.

Job position: Contract.

Work authorization: UK work authorization.
