Business Analyst at UK Research & Innovation, Swindon, £Contract Rate

As a Business Analyst , your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead and support business analysis activities across the project lifecycle, including problem definition, options analysis and benefits articulation.
• Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to elicit, document and validate business needs, user needs and constraints, applying appropriate analysis techniques.
• Develop clear and proportionate analysis products (for example, process maps, requirements, impacts or options assessments) to inform decision xe2 making and support delivery.
• Work closely with project and programme colleagues to ensure analysis underpins delivery plans, risks, dependencies and governance.
• Support iterative development by reviewing emerging solutions, assessing impacts and ensuring alignment with agreed business needs.
• Contribute to good practice within the project delivery and business analysis community, promoting consistent, structured and user xe2 centred approaches.

Essential:

• Experience working as a Business Analyst or undertaking equivalent business analysis activities within a project or programme environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and communicate complex issues clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
• Practical experience applying business analysis tools and techniques (such as process mapping, requirements analysis, options appraisal or impact assessment).
• Ability to work autonomously within agreed scope, manage competing priorities and deliver high quality outputs to deadlines.
