As an Infrastructure Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
* Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud platforms, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical services.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency and strengthen security controls.
* Build and support CI/CD pipelines, embedding security into the software delivery lifecycle and automating deployment processes.
* Deploy, manage, and secure containerised workloads using Docker, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
* Monitor infrastructure and cloud environments, proactively identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security risks.
* Manage and improve Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, ensuring least-privilege access across environments.
* Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams to design and implement secure-by-default solutions.
* Support incident response activities, troubleshooting security and infrastructure issues and driving root cause analysis.
* Champion continuous improvement through automation, infrastructure standardization, and cloud security best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with AWS Cloud services and cloud security.
* Proven expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
* Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
* Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
* Hands-on experience with Docker and container security.
* Strong understanding of security principles, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, and IAM.
* Experience administering and securing Linux environments.
