Technology Application Owner & Project Lead at Wavestone Management Advisory UK Ltd, London, 12 Months, £Contract Rate

Contract Description

Your tasks

  • Lead UAT oversight, defect triage, integration testing for the Smart Building solution, and go/no-go readiness for both applications
  • Take end-to-end technical ownership of the occupant-facing and Smart Building applications, including handover from delivery teams and governance distinct from business ownership and strategic enablement
  • Lead go-live readiness, ELS cutover, stabilisation, and structured ELS exit, including defect burn-down, knowledge transfer, handover, validation, transition to stable BAU, and sign-off
  • Own the technical roadmap, enhancement backlog, architecture, and future re-platforming or decommissioning across the application life cycle
  • Guide Smart Building architecture and capability decisions across IoT, BMS, occupancy analytics, energy monitoring, and related integrations, including data-quality and integration validation
  • Assess the feasibility of business requests, make technical trade-offs and design decisions, and provide informed prioritisation recommendations
  • Manage technical debt proactively, maintain the debt register, and escalate material technical, investment, or cross-portfolio risks
  • Prioritise reuse of existing platforms and capabilities, capitalise on existing enterprise investment, and avoid duplicate solutions or shadow IT
  • Lead end-to-end technical project delivery for local and global real-estate initiatives involving either application, including scoping, planning, budgeting, resourcing, timelines, and feasibility validation
  • Coordinate IT, Workplace Services, Real Estate, Facilities, vendors, and local teams throughout project delivery
  • Design and lead change management across UAT, go-live, ELS-to-BAU transition, and project rollouts
  • Act as a trusted and constructively challenging technical partner to Workplace Services while preserving business ownership of priorities and acceptance
  • Escalate cross-portfolio, investment, and strategic decisions to the Head of Tech for Real Estate and support resolution when business and technology perspectives diverge
  • Provide regular governance and reporting on delivery status, technical debt, risks, roadmap, and strategic alignment
  • Co-manage vendor SLAs, performance, and contract renewals with Workplace Services
  • Maintain technical documentation, architecture overviews, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials
