Platform Security Consultant at RiverSafe, Remote/London, £Contract Rate

We are seeking a Security Consultant focused on platform and integration security to provide consultancy across internal developer platforms, ensuring capabilities are secure by design. You'll review security across Web, API, Event, and Runtime platforms, embed controls into CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation and policy-as-code across the engineering estate.

• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments across platforms
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines with Platform Engineering
• Review secure integration patterns and event-driven architectures
• Drive adoption of security automation and policy-as-code
• Oversee source code repositories, secrets management, and supply chain security

Skills

• Strong background in platform security and cloud-native environments
• Proven experience assessing security across Web, API, event-driven, and runtime platforms
• Solid understanding of secure integration patterns and service-to-service communication
• Hands-on DevSecOps experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with security automation, policy-as-code, and configuration compliance tooling
• Knowledge of software supply chain security and secrets management

*This role is predominantly remote with ad hoc travel required to the London office. Candidates need to be UK resident for compliance purposes*
