  • Support analysis of regulatory, accounting, reporting and governance implications.
  • Produce high-quality papers, business cases and stakeholder communications to support decision making and governance approvals.
  • Help develop future operating models, controls and processes required to support SPIRE implementation.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience with ‘SPIRE’ SPV within an Insurer.
  • Significant experience of structured finance, SPV structures, derivatives, fixed income or related investment solutions.
  • Strong understanding of insurance or asset management operating environments and the interaction between investment, operational, regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Experience working on complex cross-functional change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a range of audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and drive progress in ambiguous environments.

Desirable experience

  • Experience of insurance investment or asset management, annuity portfolios or Matching Adjustment portfolios.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II, structured products, funded reinsurance or collateral optimisation solutions.
  • Experience engaging with custodians, asset servicers, investment operations teams or external structuring providers.
