Full Stack Developer at World Wide Technology, London, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

World Wide Technology (WWT) is looking for an experienced FullStack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Agile delivery, software architecture, and AI-assisted development.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, solution design, and modernization of legacy applications while driving automation and innovation across development teams.

This is a contract Role & Inside IR35

FullStack Developer

Contract Duration: 6 months contract

Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid with 2- 3 days a week)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product strategy, technical roadmap, and solution design using modern technologies and best practices.
• Lead hands-on development, including legacy modernization, feature delivery, and application enhancements.
• Own Scrum backlog management and delivery of automation solutions.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews, ensuring quality and standards.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across Agile teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience delivering large-scale software solutions using modern development methodologies.
• Expertise in Java 8+ (preferably Java 17+), REST APIs, and SQL optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing practices (TDD, BDD, Pact).
• Proven use of AI/agentic development tools to accelerate planning, coding, testing, and delivery.
• Experience designing software architectures and supporting implementation.
• Exposure to legacy frameworks such as ZK or Django.
• Knowledge of network automation is a plus.
