Full Stack Developer at Software Medical Informatics Ltd, Remote, Ad Hoc/Part-Time, £Contractor Rate

A UK-based company with a small team, bringing development support into an existing B2B SaaS application. We are looking for a contractor to work on an adhoc basis. Statement of Works to be provided for pricing and completion. Full support is provided by the company.

Based in Beeston, Nottingham.

Overview

We need a full-stack developer to resolve production issues from an existing B2B SaaS backlog. This is the first batch of work, with potential follow-on work if the initial engagement goes well.

• Investigate and resolve report-generation table locks on large report outputs.
• Improve by making pop-out search and selection menus full-screen instead of part screen.
• Ensure updating a code automatically updates its matching description.
• Replace row highlighting in the Patient Search selection field with the previous outline selection, so background colouring remains visible.
• Prevent a specified data type from being added to a patient record after the patient is marked deceased, rather than showing only a warning.
• Improve by making pop-out Electronic Forms full screen, for completion and adding option for printing to PDF in Landscape (currently just portrait)

· Strong communication is essential and using JIRA as our central platform for task management, sprint updates and teams comms.

Codebase access and a sanitised test environment will be provided once the engagement is accepted. The developer should complete basic unit testing of the database and processes updated before moving the branch live in GitHub, extract a compiled version under the client’s process, and post the version link in Jira for the client team’s UAT.

NOTE: A signed NDA must be completed before codebase access is provided.
