Role Description The Power BI Adoption Lead will drive the successful rollout and ongoing use of Power BI across client organizations, ensuring that stakeholders understand and embrace data visualization and reporting capabilities. This is a contract, hybrid role based in Leeds, with a blend of on-site client engagement and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing current reporting processes, defining adoption plans, facilitating workshops, and providing hands-on support for business users. The role involves partnering with technical teams to align data models and dashboards with business needs, creating documentation and training materials, and monitoring usage to identify improvements. The Power BI Adoption Lead will also act as a champion for data literacy, gathering feedback, addressing adoption barriers, and reporting progress to client leadership.

The key role will be to work with the business and train them to use and work with Power BI.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Strong experience leading Power BI implementation or adoption initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • Hands-on skills in Power BI report and dashboard design, basic data modeling, and interpretation of business requirements.
  • Ability to design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and user guides for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to align reporting solutions with organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients at different levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with broader business intelligence concepts and data governance practices is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in management consulting or working with external clients on technology adoption projects is an advantage.
