Microsoft Solutions Architect (MS Places & Directory Structures) at M4 Digital Group Ltd, Remote, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

M4 Digital Group an IT Delivery Practice is a forward thinking and fast-growing SME with an established UK client base. As the next stage in our expansion plan, we are seeking a skilled Microsoft Solutions Architect to design and optimize our modern workplace infrastructure. You will play a leading role in the deployment of Microsoft Places and refine our enterprise directory structures to create a seamless, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Solutions: Design end-to-end Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Deploy MS Places: Implement Microsoft Places to optimize hybrid workspace management and coordination.
• Optimize Directories: Structure Active Directory and Entra ID for scalable identity governance.
• Integrate Systems: Connect physical workplace data with digital directory services.
• Provide Governance: Define security boundaries, access controls, and compliance policies.

Experience

• Experience: 5+ years as a Microsoft Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect.
• MS Places Expertise: Proven experience configuring and deploying Microsoft Places features.
• Directory Mastery: Deep technical knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identities.
• Cloud Knowledge: Strong background in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure services.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills to bridge technical delivery with business strategy.

Job Type: 6 Month Contract - Start October 2026

Rate: Market Rate (please provide rate expectations in response)

Location: Hybrid mostly working from home with client site visits
