Configuration Administrator at Opticore IT, Dunstable, 3 Months, £Contract Rate

Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Configuration Administrator who has experience working with CMDB administration and ITSM to come and join the team for a 3 month contract inside IR35 with scope to extend. This opportunity will require three days on site in Dunstable per week.

This opportunity will work alongside a major UK hospitality brand supporting the ongoing maintenance, validation and improvement of Configuration Management and Service Information data within ServiceNow.

What you'll be doing:

• Maintain and improve Configuration Item, Service and Service Offering records within ServiceNow, working across Infrastructure, Applications, Networks, Security and Service Management teams to gather and validate information.

• Update CI attributes, ownership, support groups and relationships in ServiceNow

• Validate Service and Service Offering records with Service Owners and Tower Leads;

• Run workshops to confirm ownership, support arrangements and escalation contacts

• Track remediation of missing or inaccurate records using ServiceNow reporting.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in CMDB/ServiceNow Administration

• Experience in IT service Management environment

• Experience supporting large-scale data quality & governance

• Reporting & Excel proficiency

• Proven ability to gather and validate information from multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders
