About us
We're a multi-venue hospitality group operating across the Coventry and Kenilworth area, including bars, restaurants, and event spaces. We're looking to reduce manual reporting workload and give our management team real-time visibility into daily performance and cash position.

The role
We need someone to build an automated daily reporting system pulling data from our Square POS and OpenTable accounts, plus a cash flow forecasting tool that brings together our funding facilities, repayment schedules, and incoming revenue. This starts with a single venue as a pilot, rolling out across our full venue portfolio (5+ sites) once proven.

What you'll be doing

Phase 1 — Reporting automation

• Connect Square's API to pull daily sales, margin, and product-level data
• Connect OpenTable to pull booking, covers, and retention data
• Build automated workflows (Zapier, Make.com, or custom scripts) to combine and process this data
• Deliver a daily summary report (email/WhatsApp/dashboard — TBD) with key metrics and anomaly flags
• Document the setup so our team can maintain or extend it

Phase 2 — Rollout & forecasting

• Extend the reporting system across all venues
• Build a cash flow forecasting tool covering multiple facilities, repayment schedules, and revenue projections, giving weeks-ahead visibility rather than reactive reporting

What we're looking for

• Proven experience with Square API and/or OpenTable API integrations
• Strong experience with automation platforms (Zapier, Make.com, n8n) or custom API integration work
• Experience building financial forecasting tools or models is a strong plus
• Comfortable working with hospitality/retail POS data
• Able to translate a rough brief into a working, reliable system
• Good communicator — able to explain technical setup to a non-technical team
• Bonus: dashboarding tools (Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Power BI) or scripting (Python/JavaScript)
