Lead Data Architect - Data warehouse migration - Data Modelling - Data Governance - Informatica - Enterprise - Cloud Key Skills:

Demonstrable experience operating in Lead data architecture role within a large, complex, multi-source organisation (public sector, financial services, telco or similarly regulated).
Track record of designing and landing enterprise-scale data architectures spanning Legacy warehouse and modern cloud platforms - not greenfield-only experience.
Deep data modelling capability: conceptual/logical/physical, dimensional (Kimball), Data Vault 2.0, and normalised operational models; ability to defend modelling choices to both engineers and business stakeholders.
Expert knowledge of at least one hyperscaler's data services
Experience leading warehouse or ETL modernisation and decommissioning, including reconciliation and parallel running.
Strong grasp of data governance, cataloguing, lineage, quality management and privacy in a high-scrutiny environment.
Evidence of influencing at senior/executive level and of building consensus across competing delivery priorities.
Line management or formal technical leadership of experienced professionals.
