Tizo builds bespoke software that delivers digital transformation for public sector and regulated organisations.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Configuration & Testing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting hands-on with systems, experimenting with configuration, and translating guidance or requirements into practical system setups.

You don’t need to know everything from day one - training and support will be provided - but you must be curious, willing to learn, and comfortable “playing” with systems to understand how they work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret documentation, guidance, and requirements
  • Translate these into system configuration options and setups
  • Configure system features based on defined needs
  • Test configurations to ensure expected outcomes are achieved
  • Identify issues, gaps, or inconsistencies and suggest improvements
  • Work closely with internal teams to refine and validate configurations
  • Document configurations, findings, and test results clearly

What We’re Looking For

  • A logical thinker who enjoys problem-solving
  • Comfortable working with systems, tools, or software configurations
  • Willingness to experiment, learn, and iterate (“try, test, refine”)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret written guidance and apply it
  • Good communication skills, particularly in documenting outcomes
  • Previous experience in configuration, testing, QA, or similar is beneficial but not essential

Desirable (but not required)

  • Experience in system configuration or software testing
  • Familiarity with interpreting technical or procedural documentation
  • Exposure to UAT, QA processes, or implementation work

Working Pattern

  • Part-time (20hrs per week)
  • Flexible working arrangements can be discussed

What We Offer

  • Training and support to get up to speed
  • Opportunity to work hands-on with real systems and configurations
  • Flexible, supportive working environment
  • Immediate start available.
