Treasury Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support delivery of change across Treasury and Liquidity, with a particular focus on liquidity regulatory policies, modelling and associated business processes, controls, data and reporting impacts. The role also has a strong communication component: you’ll produce clear, high-quality regulatory documentation and support the creation of senior management packs (papers, governance updates and presentations).
Main Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements
•
● Elicit, analyse, validate and document business, functional and non-functional requirements aligned to liquidity regulatory policies and internal standards.
● Produce BA deliverables such as BRDs/FRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, business rules and traceability matrices.
● Perform as-is/to-be process analysis, identify gaps, and propose solution options with clear impacts, assumptions and dependencies.
● Facilitate workshops and working groups to drive clarity on scope, requirements and outcomes across business, technology and control functions. IT Delivery Support

● Work effectively across the delivery lifecycle: requirements → design support → build clarification → testing → implementation.
● Support testing and business validation, including UAT planning, test scenario definition, defect triage and business sign-off against acceptance criteria.
● Contribute to implementation readiness (cutover inputs, operational handover considerations, training/comms impacts, early life support inputs). Liquidity Policy / Regulatory Change Support

● Support interpretation and translation of liquidity regulatory requirements and internal policy into measurable delivery outcomes.
● Partner with Liquidity Risk and policy owners to ensure requirements, controls and evidence align to regulatory expectations.
● Help ensure appropriate consideration of controls, governance and documentation in support of a strong risk and audit posture.
● Has proven experience in modelling.
Senior Management Materials & Governance
•
● Support preparation of high-quality SteerCo / governance packs, executive summaries, RAID logs and decision papers.
● Create and maintain clear PowerPoint presentations that distil complex regulatory and delivery topics into actionable insights.
● Track actions, decisions and follow-ups across governance forums to ensure timely closure and accurate audit trail.
Key Requirements
•
● Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services (regulatory change and/or risk/treasury delivery preferred).
● Strong understanding of IT delivery and the practical use of BA artefacts across Agile and/or waterfall environments.
● Working knowledge of liquidity regulatory policies and the ability to translate policy/regulatory requirements into business and technology requirements.
● Excellent written communication skills with evidence of producing clear, structured documentation for senior audiences.
● Strong PowerPoint skills and experience preparing senior management packs and governance updates.
● Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, able to work across Business, Technology and Control functions.
● High attention to detail, able to work at pace and manage competing priorities.

● Experience within Treasury / Liquidity Risk (processes, reporting, governance, controls).
● Experience with NFR/controls, audit evidence expectations, and traceability from requirements through testing.
● Familiarity with data analysis and mapping (e.g., source-to-target, data lineage, reconciliations).
