About the role

Rezcomm is looking for a freelance Tracking, Analytics and PPC Support Specialist to support our Marketing & Communications team on a part-time basis.

This role will help maintain continuity across GA4, Google Tag Manager, campaign tracking, reporting, client tracking troubleshooting and paid media support. We are looking for someone who understands the technical and commercial side of digital marketing performance, and can help the team investigate issues, sense-check reporting and support agency activity with confidence.

The role would suit someone who is hands-on, analytical and comfortable working across tracking, analytics, reporting and PPC support. You do not need to own the full paid media strategy, but you should be confident reviewing tracking setups, spotting issues, checking performance data and explaining what needs to happen next.

Key responsibilities

  • Investigate tracking issues across GA4, Google Tag Manager, campaign links, consent settings and reporting tools.
  • Complete test bookings where needed to validate tracking, attribution and user journeys.
  • Review performance data from GA4, Looker Studio and other reporting sources, turning findings into clear next steps.
  • Provide simple summaries that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
  • Review Google Ads activity, sense-check PPC reporting and identify practical areas for improvement.
  • Support PPC quality control, agency feedback and campaign briefing where needed.

Experience we’re looking for

We are looking for someone with practical experience across tracking, analytics, performance reporting and PPC support.

You should be comfortable working with GA4, Google Tag Manager, campaign tracking, UTMs, attribution checks and Looker Studio or similar reporting tools. You should also be confident investigating tracking issues, reviewing performance data and explaining findings clearly.

Experience with the following would be especially useful:

  • GA4 reporting and troubleshooting
  • Google Tag Manager setup, checks and debugging
  • Campaign tracking, UTMs and attribution checks
  • Looker Studio or similar reporting dashboards
  • Digital marketing measurement and KPI definition
  • Google Ads performance review and optimisation
  • PPC agency support or agency-side experience
  • Working with internal teams, clients or external agencies

Experience in ecommerce, booking journeys, travel, airports, parking or SaaS would be useful, but is not essential.

Working pattern

The preferred working pattern covers 3-4 days per week, 2-4 hours per day. This gives the equivalent of 1.5 full working days per week, while providing better continuity across meetings, testing, feedback and project follow-up.

This role may suit an experienced freelancer looking for regular, structured work that can fit around school or nursery drop-offs, caring responsibilities or other freelance commitments.
