Job Title: Business Change Manager

Location: Remote. Located in any Deloitte UK office outside London (Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh)

Target Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 12 months

Role Purpose:

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Business Change Manager to join its Enterprise Business Solutions Transformation function. A key part of this role is leading the communications approach that supports the successful adoption of new standards, processes and tools, particularly those related to travel. You will be responsible for developing, executing and monitoring change management plans, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, audience-based communications and training. Key responsibilities include identifying and analysing change impacts, assessing business readiness, determining training needs and translating complex change into clear, practical messaging for different stakeholder groups. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, develop and deliver communication and training plans and materials, and ensure communications support understanding, engagement and adoption throughout the transition. You will also anticipate resistance and implement strategies to address challenges and embed change effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must have experience of large-scale business change management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, and to translate complex change into clear, concise and audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering change communications strategies, plans and materials that drive understanding, engagement and adoption across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage change across numerous and diverse teams.
  • Experience and knowledge of business change management principles, methodologies and tools.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Change Manager, managing end to end change
  • Proven experience applying change management methodologies to support effective stakeholder engagement, communications planning and business readiness.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management with a strong focus on strategic communications, stakeholder messaging and adoption activity.
  • Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems
  • Proven experience in working in project teams and implementing a change programme of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, audience-specific messages and materials for a range of stakeholder groups.
  • PROSCI qualified
  • Experience of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies

Deliverables: responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Lead the delivery of change management and communications activities across the programme, ensuring communications are a core enabler of stakeholder engagement and adoption.
  • Develop and implement change, engagement and communications plans aligned to the product release, with clear messaging tailored to different stakeholder audiences.
  • Create and deliver audience-specific communications and training materials to support readiness, enable user adoption and sustain change.
