About Glaicier

Glaicier is a UK Microsoft consultancy. We help organisations move, adopt, secure and get real value from Microsoft 365 and Azure, and we have built our own platform, Novalysis, to crack the data-governance and permissions problems that quietly derail big migrations. Our clients include NHS trusts, ambulance services and public-sector bodies, so the work matters: untangling complex estates, protecting sensitive data and giving people technology that actually works. We are small, which means what you do is visible and makes a difference.

The role

We run complex migrations for serious clients, and we are honest enough to say we want more rigour around how we deliver. This is the role that provides it. You will be the person clients trust to keep things on track, and the one who keeps our team focused on the right things at the right time.

• Own the delivery cadence across client migration projects: plans, milestones, risks, actions and the regular drumbeat that keeps everyone honest.
• Be the project manager our clients interface with, the calm and organised point of contact on their side and ours.
• Keep our team pointed at the right priorities, and chase the things that need chasing.
• Build the delivery approach with us, not just run to a template someone handed you.

What you will bring

• Solid project management experience in IT, software or technology delivery, ideally around Microsoft 365, Azure or data migrations.
• The craft to run a project properly: scope, plan, track, report, manage risk and communicate clearly throughout.
• Confident, human communication with clients and colleagues alike.
• Comfort in a small, fast-moving business where the playbook is still being written.

We are listing this as a contract, outside IR35-friendly role, envisaging 2-3 days per week max at the moment but with a serious eye towards contract-to-perm potential if the fit is right.
