Senior SDET at Codurance, London, 6 Months, £500 per day

Codurance is an innovative consultancy that helps organisations embrace the power of technology to drive business success. We are currently seeking an experienced contract SDET / QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Codurance SDET, you will be embedded directly within a high-autonomy engineering pod, owning quality end-to-end and working alongside a small team of AI-enabled engineers.

This is an initial 6-month contract, inside IR35.

Day rate: £500

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Strong test automation skills with a senior SDET or QA Engineer mindset and you own quality end-to-end, not just execute test cases
• Experience building regression, feature validation, and performance test coverage, ideally from a low or undefined baseline
• Comfort operating with high autonomy inside a small engineering squad, without a dedicated QA lead above you
• An AI-first approach to your work. You actively use tools such as Claude Code to accelerate test authoring, triage, and design
• The ability to participate in business requirements analysis, bug triage, and post mortem, not just testing
• Flexibility to work US timezone hours, as the team operates occasionally with US schedules

It'll be a bonus if you have experience in embedded engineering environments or working within product squads with direct client exposure.
