We are looking for enthusiastic business analysts to Help to Buy transformation programme
As a Tech Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and articulate a detailed understanding of the Homes England's business processes, working with process owners to identify and implement opportunities for incremental and step-change process improvement.
- Work as an agile business analyst in a multi-disciplinary team, supporting the team and Product Manager with developing and managing a product backlog.
- Facilitate both agile ceremonies and business workshops.
- Production of Epics, Features and User Stories to agreed standards and quality levels.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to complex business problems, successfully identifying and then translating business needs to digital and non-digital solutions.
- Able to work to a waterfall approach, producing High Level, Functional and Non-Functional business requirements.
- Support team members and others within the wider business analysis community of practice, supporting the development and implementation of business analysis best practice.
Essential:
- Experienced in business analysis, working both collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary agile team and alone.
- Experience of working with the user centred design profession and their methods and techniques.
- Experience of Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Experience of working with a backlog of user stories and acceptance criteria using Behaviour Driven Development.
- Experience of waterfall projects, producing High Level, Functional and Non-Functional requirements.
- Knowledge of the GDS development approach / digital standards.
- Awareness of public sector Information Security issues.
- Awareness of public sector finances e.g. Departmental Expenditure Limit (DEL).
Desirable:
- Business Analysis qualification
- Agile certification
