Freelance Wix Website Designer (Remote / Project-Based)

We are seeking a talented Freelance Wix Website Designer to join our team on a remote, project-based basis. Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing, responsive websites using Wix platform tailored to client specifications
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows
• Implement interaction design principles to enhance user engagement and usability
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design improvements
• optimise websites for search engines (SEO) and ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring ongoing functionality and aesthetic consistency
• Integrate third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and other marketing or analytics platforms

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital design, UI/UX, front-end development, and website maintenance
• Proficiency with website builders such as Wix.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Adobe XD/Dreamweaver/Acrobat; familiarity with Figma or Balsamiq is desirable
• Knowledge of content management systems including Drupal or SharePoint; experience with Google Analytics and email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Telerik is advantageous
• Ability to perform user research, data analysis skills for usability testing and information architecture optimisation
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently within deadlines
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with their manager.
