Role Description

This is a freelance, remote role for an Associate AI / Data Science Trainer. You will design and deliver engaging online training sessions on AI and data science concepts, tools and real‑world applications. Typical topics may include:

● AI Fundamentals for Business Professionals (3 days)

● Generative AI & ChatGPT for Workplace Productivity (3 days)

● Prompt Engineering & AI Communication for Professionals (2 days)

● AI for Business Transformation & Innovation (3 days)

● AI Data Analytics & Visualisation (3 days)

● Machine Learning & Applied AI Bootcamp (5 days)

● Responsible AI Governance & Risk Management (3 days)

● AI in Healthcare & Digital Health Innovation (3 days)

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and updating course materials, exercises and examples for online delivery.
  • Providing hands‑on guidance to learners using relevant tools (e.g. Python, R, notebooks, dashboards).
  • Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborating with the LGC team to continuously refine curricula in line with industry best practice.
  • Creating a supportive, interactive virtual classroom experience and responding to learner questions.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in AI, Data Science, or Data Analytics, with practical, real‑world experience.
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking and data‑driven problem‑solving.
  • Good working knowledge of commonly used tools and languages such as Python and/or R; familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Experience delivering training, teaching, or mentoring in technical subjects (bootcamps, corporate training, university, or online courses) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to different levels of learners.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Relevant academic background and/or certifications in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
