AI Writer (Vibe Coding/App Builder Space) at Masse, Remote, £Contract Rate

Masse is a fast-growing SEO and AEO agency that builds content campaigns at scale for ambitious tech companies. 

We're looking for a writer to cover a client in the AI app builder space, often called vibe coding or agentic software generation. Think platforms where someone describes an app in plain English and a team of AI agents designs, builds, tests, and deploys it.

The audience you'll write for is non-technical founders, solo operators, agency owners, consultants, and other domain experts who have a product or internal tool they want to ship without hiring engineers. They're software-literate but not coders. They care about what they can actually build, what it costs, and whether the thing they ship will hold up when real customers use it.

You don't need to be an engineer. You do need to be the kind of person who'll spend a weekend building a working app on one of these platforms, take notes the whole time, and come back with a strong opinion about what worked, what didn't, and who should use it.

What You'll Do

• Write up to 2 articles per day (avg. ~1,750 words) across how-tos (How to build a CRM with AI), comparisons (Lovable vs Bolt), best-of roundups (Best AI app builders for agencies), and category education (What is vibe coding?)
• Actually use the tools you write about. Subscribe, build something real, take screenshots, hit the limitations yourself. First-person authority backed by real testing is the bar
• Use the AI tools and workflows we've built so you can focus on the parts that matter: testing, opinion, accuracy, voice
• Write with concrete detail (exact prompts, exact build times, exact outputs) and a direct voice readers trust
• Pick winners. Roundups need a clear take per category. Comparisons need a verdict
• Translate technical capability into business outcomes. The reader cares whether they can take payments on the thing they built, not the mechanics behind it
• Collaborate with an editor who handles proofreading and formatting so you can stay focused on substance

What We're Looking For

• Native-level English
• Working knowledge of the AI app builder / vibe coding category
• Comfort writing for non-technical readers building real businesses. You can explain a multi-agent system or a deployment in plain English at the right level for the reader
• A point of view. You should be able to tell a reader why they should skip a tool, not just list features
• Prior agency or startup experience. You know how to move fast without cutting corners
• Proven ability to work fully remote, hit consistent deadlines, and manage your own workflow
• Genuine curiosity for the space. Bonus points if you've actually shipped something with an AI builder, even a prototype, and have opinions about the experience

• Compensation: $150/day, 5 days/week
• Employment: Contract
• Start Date: Immediate
