Business Change Manager at Home Office, Remote/London, 9 Months, £Contract Rate

The Home Office covers three systems Homeland Security, Public Safety and Borders, and Immigration and Citizenship. These systems work collaboratively to deliver our cross-cutting priorities, whilst providing increasingly efficient and secure services for the public. As a Business Change Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

 

  • Prepare the business for the impact of changes being delivered by the project, from concept to execution and review.
  • Provide a bridge between the project and the business users to ensure change impacts are identified and activities are planned and completed.
  • Manage the business change activity and work with the Project Manager to deliver the Business Case benefits and outcomes.
  • Lead on engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver clear, timely communications to support change adoption, including briefing notes, stakeholder updates, newsletters, presentations, and leadership talking points, ensuring messages are consistent, accessible, and tailored to different audiences.
  • Support internal events including Away Days, Show & Tells and All Staff briefings.

 

Essential:

 

  • Proven ability to prepare and support business areas through end xe2 to xe2 end change, from initial concept through implementation to post xe2 delivery review, ensuring readiness and sustained adoption.
  • Experience acting as a key interface between project teams and business users, identifying change impacts and ensuring appropriate change activities are planned and delivered.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage business change activity and of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, building trust and securing buy xe2 in to drive successful change adoption.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience developing and delivering clear, timely, and audience xe2 appropriate communications (e.g. briefings, updates, presentations, leadership messaging) to support change initiatives.
  • Experience supporting and coordinating internal engagement activities and events (e.g. All Staff briefings, Show & Tells, Away Days) to reinforce messaging and embed change.
  • SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
