Cloud Engineer at Whitebridge Group, Havant/Remote, 6 Months, to £650 per day

Whitebridge is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the application and service migration to a new platform for our utilities client.

Experienced required:

• Understanding of either Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure and Cloud Native Architectures is essential. A Cloud Certification in either Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure is desirable, but not essential. Experience of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) is required, and experience of Terraform is desirable.
• Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows and/or Linux) is desirable, but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of operational support procedures.
• Ability to write software scripts in at least one general-purpose programming language (Bash, PowerShell, Python) or develop automation in one configuration tool (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong communication skills to be able to collaborate with teams across the organisation to help cloud adoption.
