Overview


We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support and enhance a Risk Reporting platform. This role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, managing delivery through Agile practices, and ensuring strong alignment between business needs and technology solutions.


The role requires a high level of autonomy, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage complex requirements within a dynamic delivery environment.

 


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the development and enhancement of risk reporting solutions


  • Translate business requirements into clear, structured technical specifications


  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring effective prioritization


  • Define and validate acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality delivery


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and operations


  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives


  • Ensure adherence to Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) practices


  • Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams


  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement


  • Support decision-making through analysis, insights, and strategic thinking


  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability development

 


Skills & Experience

Essential Skills


  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)


  • Excellent strategic thinking and planning capabilities


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Proven expertise in stakeholder management and communication


  • Experience in process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML)


  • Ability to define clear and testable acceptance criteria


Technical Knowledge


  • Good understanding of web development and hosting environments


  • Familiarity with the Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC)


  • Strong ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation


Communication & Leadership


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes


  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing

 


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in risk reporting, financial systems, or regulated environments


  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms


  • Relevant certifications in Agile or Business Analysis
