Role Description

This is a freelance, remote role for an Associate Software, Cloud & Tech Trainer. You will deliver high‑quality online training sessions to diverse professional audiences, with a focus on practical tools and real‑world use cases. Typical topics may include:

  • Cloud Computing & DevOps Essentials
  • Robotics & Automation for Industry
  • Industrial Automation & Smart Manufacturing
  • Fintech & Blockchain Fundamentals
  • Tech Project Management (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, delivering and updating engaging virtual training sessions (live online; recorded content where needed).
  • Creating and refining training materials, hands‑on labs and practical exercises.
  • Explaining technical concepts clearly to mixed‑level audiences and linking them to business outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the LGC team to keep course content aligned with current industry tools and best practice.
  • Providing guidance, feedback and support to learners to help them apply skills in their roles.

Flexible working arrangements allow delivery across different time zones, depending on client needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a technical trainer or instructor in software, cloud, or related technology areas.
  • Strong skills in planning and delivering effective training sessions (online or classroom) for professional learners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Experience with one or more of: major cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps tools, automation technologies, or project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to design or adapt training content and labs for different industries and experience levels.
  • Self‑driven, well organised, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Relevant degree and/or substantial professional experience in a related technical field.
  • Industry certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Azure, Kubernetes, Scrum Master, PMP, or similar) are a strong plus but not essential where strong hands‑on experience is demonstrated.

Pay: £100.00-£140.00 per day
