Hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst - Client Onboarding - Contract Role 

 

Profile of the role:

We are seeking a versatile Hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst to support the delivery of key initiatives across the Schroders Capital business, with an initial focus on a new Investor Portal. This hybrid role will combine strong project delivery discipline with hands‑on business analysis and operating‑model design, working across Business, Technology, Legal and external vendors.

The role requires a delivery‑focused professional who is a self-starter and can drive day‑to‑day execution while also shaping future‑state processes and ensuring business readiness. Flexibility will be required to support other Schroders Capital platform initiatives as delivery priorities evolve.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Management

  • Own end‑to‑end day‑to‑day project delivery and governance, including maintaining detailed project plans, progress tracking, RAID logs and status reporting
  • Prepare for, coordinate and run steering committee sessions to support effective decision‑making
  • Face off to senior business stakeholders, providing appropriate updates, challenging and influencing decision making
  • Input into project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting and oversight
  • Act as the primary point of contact with external vendors, managing delivery and dependencies
  • Coordinate delivery across internal stakeholders including Business, Technology, Legal and third‑party partners
  • Ensure risks and issues are proactively identified, escalated and mitigated

 

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Lead operating‑model design activity across the lenses of people, process, technology and governance
  • Capture, analyse and document clear, high‑quality business requirements
  • Lead workshops to define future‑state processes, with particular focus on Client Onboarding and KYC workflows
  • Support analysis of commercial terms and contractual considerations associated with platform delivery
  • Develop clear, concise materials to present delivery options, trade‑offs and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Support business‑readiness activities, including user training, operational enablement and user access set‑up

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide flexible support to the Change Strategy Lead across other Schroders Capital platform initiatives as required, adapting to fluctuating delivery demand
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project and analysis standards, tools and delivery practices

 

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience within Asset Management, with knowledge of Alternatives / Private Assets preferable
  • Strong understanding of Client Onboarding and KYC processes
  • Proven experience in operating‑model design and implementation
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex initiatives in a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst capacity
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and governance forums
  • Strong facilitation, documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, change‑driven environments
