Check Point Firewall Engineer at Whitebridge Group, United Kingdom, 12 Months, £500-£700 per day

Whitebridge is looking for a Firewall Engineer with expertise in Check Point Firewalls.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience working as a Firewall Engineer within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Check Point Firewalls, including policy design, implementation, and operational support.
• Experience with both physical and virtual Firewall platforms, including cloud-hosted Firewall environments.
• Experience supporting Firewall services across both operational (BAU) and project-based workstreams.
• Strong documentation skills, with experience capturing as-is environments and producing clear, structured technical documentation.
• Good understanding of network security principles, Firewall architectures, and secure network design.
• Ability to work effectively during transition and change programmes, including engagement with third-party suppliers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Desirable to have current SC Clearance or at least willing to go through the process.

The successful applicant should be able to commit to starting ASAP. The role will be 80% homebased with office visits required and will be umbrella based working. Direct applicants only please.
