VMware & IBM SAN Storage Consultant at GTC, London, £550 per day

We are seeking an experienced VMware & IBM SAN Storage Consultant to provide onsite enterprise infrastructure consulting services in London, UK.

This is a self-employed B2B consulting role providing enterprise VMware & SAN infrastructure consulting services on a daily-rate contract basis.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in VMware virtualization, IBM SAN storage environments, SAN switching, enterprise storage infrastructure, and datacenter operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage VMware vSphere / ESXi environments
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot IBM SAN Storage systems
• Manage SAN switching infrastructure (Brocade / Cisco)
• Perform storage provisioning, migrations, and performance optimization
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
• Provide enterprise infrastructure consulting and troubleshooting
• Participate in datacenter migration and implementation projects
• Work closely with customer technical teams and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter experience
• IBM SAN Storage administration experience
• SAN switching experience (Brocade / Cisco)
• Enterprise storage experience (IBM / EMC / NetApp / Dell EMC)
• Experience with backup & disaster recovery solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and implementation skills
• Enterprise datacenter environment experience

Preferred Certifications:

• VMware VTSP / VCP / VCAP
• IBM Storage certifications
• EMC / NetApp certifications
• Brocade or Cisco SAN certifications
