About FTD Digital

FTD Digital (ftddigital.com) runs a portfolio of paid acquisition sites across sweepstakes and licensed UK betting and casino brands. We rely on accurate conversion data flowing from our tracking stack into Meta to keep our ad spend efficient. Right now, that data isn’t getting through reliably, and we need an expert to fix it.

The problem we need solved

We have an existing Zapier workflow that pulls conversion data from Routy and pushes it into the Meta ads platform (via Conversions API / offline conversions). It was built by a previous contractor, the build is undocumented, and we cannot work out exactly what it is doing. Data is not feeding through reliably, and we don’t have confidence in the setup.

We need a Zapier specialist to either repair the existing chain, or — more likely — rebuild it cleanly with proper documentation so we can maintain it ourselves going forward.

This is a one-off project, not an ongoing retainer.

Scope of work

1. Audit the existing Routy → Zapier → Meta workflow. Map every Zap, filter, formatter, and webhook in the chain. Identify exactly where data is being dropped, transformed incorrectly, or failing silently.

2. Diagnose the issues feeding data through to Meta. Confirm whether the problem sits in Routy’s output, the Zap logic, payload formatting, the Meta endpoint, event matching, or deduplication.

3. Recommend rebuild vs. repair, with a clear rationale and rough effort estimate for each option.

4. Rebuild or repair the workflow so that conversion events flow reliably from Routy through Zapier into Meta CAPI / offline conversions, with correct event names, parameters, user data hashing (email, phone), event_id deduplication, and test event verification.

5. Document the final setup in plain English: a short-written walkthrough with screenshots, a list of every Zap, what each step does, and how to troubleshoot common failures.

6. Handover call (30–45 mins) to walk us through the build and document so we can maintain it ourselves.

Essential skills and experience

  • Zapier expert level — you’ve built and maintained complex multi-step Zaps with webhooks, paths, filters, formatters, lookup tables, and error handling. Not a generalist who has dabbled.
  • Meta Conversions API (CAPI) experience is mandatory — you’ve personally implemented CAPI / offline conversions and understand event matching quality, deduplication, user data hashing, and the Test Events tool in Meta Events Manager.
  • Debugging mindset — you can read someone else’s undocumented Zap and work out what it’s trying to do.
  • Webhooks and JSON — comfortable inspecting payloads, reading API responses, and spotting where things break.
  • Clear written English — documentation matters as much as the build itself.
  • Available now — can start within 1–2 days and complete the project inside a week.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with Routy (or similar postback / S2S tracking platforms — Voluum, RedTrack, Binom, FunnelFlux)
  • Affiliate marketing, iGaming, sweepstakes, or paid acquisition vertical experience
  • Familiarity with Meta Pixel + CAPI deduplication specifically
  • Experience with Make.com / n8n as alternatives (we may consider migrating if Zapier is the wrong tool)

Pay: £30.00-£70.00 per hour

Application question(s):

  • 11. Have you personally built and maintained complex multi-step Zaps using webhooks, paths, filters, and formatters?
  • 12. Have you personally implemented Meta Conversions API (CAPI) or offline conversions on a live ad account?
  • 21. Have you worked with Routy or any similar postback / server-to-server tracking platform (e.g. Voluum, RedTrack, Binom, FunnelFlux)? Which ones, and in what role?
  • What is your hourly rate?
